The Jan. court order was a complete intrusion into core military affairs and created intolerable risks to safety and mission success. The deployment of a SEAL should be at the discretion of military leaders, and this new emergency application is a step in the right direction to restoring order.

Forcing a service member to choose between their faith and serving their country is abhorrent. Worse yet, it puts them in a position where they have to forfeit the very freedoms they've fought to protect.
