CNN+ Is Dead

The failure of this flashy new service is just another stage in CNN's downfall. The network has been drifting away from actual news coverage and transformed into an uncritical mouthpiece for the left. Informed news consumers have taken notice and are rightly abandoning the platform.
Though conservative media may paint this decision as a sign of failure, it is simply the result of a change in leadership and strategy. Licht clearly stated that the decision was not based on performance, but on the direction that Warner Bros. Discovery wants to follow.
This is yet another sign that the already saturated market of streaming services has further to fall. Streaming pioneer Netflix was first to the slump in subscription rates as the appetite for overpriced content falters, and now others will join it.
