European Space Agency suspends Mars rover mission over Ukraine invasion

The West shouldn't completely shut out Russian scientists, especially since many have denounced the invasion. Scientists from the two nations were even able to work together during the heart of the Cold War, and cutting Russia off from scientific collaboration could have long-term effects that outweigh the short-term benefit.
Scientific research is no different than banking or business and must stay consistent with the sanctions that have been put on Russia. Even remaining neutral would be an insult to Ukrainian scientists and citizens and weaken the effects of isolating Russia.
