On its fourth day of publicly televised hearings Tues., the Jan. 6 Committee focused on former Pres. Trump's attempts at uncovering alleged election fraud, beginning with a memo sent by Trump's inner circle pushing state election officials to overturn the results.
One example of this was Rudy Giuliani likening Georgia poll worker, Shaye Moss, to a low-level drug dealer and accusing her of bringing suitcases full of fraudulent ballots to the polling station. She and her family were then harassed and threatened by Trump supporters.
This latest hearing was chilling and damning evidence of Trump's efforts to overturn the election results, with lifelong Republicans testifying how he directly tried to put forward fake slates of electors. Meanwhile, the testimony of Ms. Moss and her mother showed the cruel human toll of Trump's deceit.
Blatant hypocrisy is yet again on display by the Jan. 6 Committee. They made a major point about protesters in front of election officials' homes, but have been silent about recent left-wing protests in front of the homes of Supreme Court Justices. The Committee was also silent on the fact that the Biden Admin has encouraged the recent protests, even though it's against federal law.
