NY is third in the nation for gun law strength; these shootings are proof that stringent guns laws do not prevent gruesome tragedies.
Research has proven that where there are more guns, there's more gun violence. Gun control laws work and, if anything, NYC and similar cities need to further tighten up their restrictions.
Adams' plan to crack down on crime in the NY subway by removing homeless people has put highly vulnerable people at higher risk of being victimized by removing them from the safety of the subway and putting them on the streets. The plan needs to go further to house these people.
