Fulton County DA Fani Willis asked a judge on Mon. to deny Sen. Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) efforts to throw out a subpoena to appear before the Georgia special grand jury investigating possible attempts by former Pres. Trump and his allies to overturn the 2020 election results in the state.
The dispute over the subpoena - which was served to Graham earlier this month - is now back before District Judge Leigh Martin May, who had previously rejected his motion to quash it.
Though Graham and his legal team say this is a political hit job against him, the evidence seems to clearly indicate his complicity in Trump's lies about the 2020 election. Either way, Graham will likely have to testify in some form or another.
The Democrats have only increased their anti-democratic campaign against Trump and his supporters, and the targeting of Graham is just another example of their desire to make it impossible for Trump to run in 2024.
