Sam Bankman-Fried

Sam Bankman-Fried is the founder and former CEO of cryptocurrency exchange FTX who was convicted in 2023 of fraud and conspiracy charges related to the collapse of FTX and misappropriation of billions in customer funds. He was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison in March 2024 for orchestrating one of the largest financial frauds in U.S. history.
