David Albright is an American physicist and nuclear nonproliferation expert, best known as the founder and president of the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing the spread of nuclear weapons. He has played a pivotal role in analyzing and exposing clandestine nuclear programs worldwide, notably serving as the first non-governmental inspector of Iraq's nuclear program in 1996.
