Tens of thousands of protesters marched silently in Belgrade on Monday to commemorate the deaths of 16 people killed when a concrete canopy collapsed at a railway station in Serbia's northern town of Novi Sad in November 2024. As part of the protest, 16 high school students walked across Savski Trg square holding white roses while victims' names were read aloud.
