James Stavridis

James G. Stavridis is a retired four-star admiral in the United States Navy and a prominent scholar in international relations, currently serving as the Dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He previously held the position of Supreme Allied Commander at NATO, where he was responsible for all NATO operations worldwide, notably during the military intervention in Libya. An accomplished author, Stavridis has written extensively on global security issues and maritime strategy, including his recent book "The Sailor's Bookshelf," which explores the intersection of literature and naval history.
