Bernadette Meyler

Bernadette Meyler is the Carl and Sheila Spaeth Professor of Law at Stanford Law School, where she has taught since 2008. A scholar of constitutional law, legal history, and law and literature, she served as faculty director of the Stanford Constitutional Law Center from 2018 to 2024. She earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and Ph.D. in English from Yale University.
