Dan Houser

Dan Houser is a British video game writer and producer who co-founded Rockstar Games in 1998. He served as vice president of creative at the company until 2020, leading development of the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption franchises. After leaving Rockstar, he founded Absurd Ventures in 2021, focusing on narrative-driven entertainment projects across multiple media platforms.
