Walter Olson

Walter Olson is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute's Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies, where he has worked since 2014. A libertarian legal commentator and author, he founded the blog Overlawyered in 1999, one of the earliest legal blogs. Olson writes on tort law, civil litigation, and constitutional issues, and has authored several books including "The Rule of Lawyers" and "Schools for Misrule."
