Arun Majumdar

Arun Majumdar is a mechanical engineer and former director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) who currently serves as the inaugural Dean of the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. He is known for his work in nanoscale heat transfer, energy efficiency, and his leadership roles in energy policy including serving as Acting Under Secretary of Energy during the Obama administration.
