Julie Carr

Julie Carr is an American poet, essayist, and translator, known for her innovative and interdisciplinary approach to poetry. She is the author of over fifteen books, including Mud, Blood, and Ghosts: Populism, Eugenics, and Spiritualism in the American West (2023) and Underscore (2024), and has received accolades such as the National Poetry Series selection and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
