According to a report by Wen and PAN UK, glyphosate, a pesticide classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a probable carcinogen, has been detected in U.K. tampons at levels 40 times higher than the legal drinking water limit — measuring 0.004 mg/kg compared to the permitted 0.0001 mg/kg.
