China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China (MFA) is the principal government agency responsible for formulating and implementing China's foreign policy, managing diplomatic relations, and representing Chinese interests in international organizations such as the United Nations. Operating under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, the MFA oversees China's global network of embassies and consulates, negotiates treaties, and advises the State Council on foreign affairs.
