Herbert Alexander Simon

Herbert Alexander Simon was an American political scientist best known for introducing the theories of bounded rationality and satisficing. He also pioneered several scientific domains, such as artificial intelligence, and received the 1975 Turing Award and the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1978.
