Julian Assange

Julian Assange is an Australian computer programmer, editor, publisher, and activist who is best known for founding the whistleblowing site WikiLeaks in 2006. Assange was arrested in 2019 and spent years fighting extradition to the United States, ultimately pleading guilty to an Espionage Act charge in 2024 and returning to Australia.
