House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) voiced his support for Harriet Hageman in her primary race to unseat incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).
The highly unusual move comes after the GOP voted to censure Cheney earlier this month, paving the way for the national party to support a challenger for the state's only House seat.
