The Facts
The Premier League's 20 clubs have agreed to suspend its deal with Rambler Group for broadcasting matches on Okko Sport in Russia, effective immediately.
The League said it condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and pledged £1M ($1.32M) to the Disasters Emergency Committee to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people.

Individuals, companies and social activists doing whatever they can to boycott Russia can help isolate the country and contribute to its economic strangulation.

This will have little impact compared to the economic sanctions coming from the US and European countries, and Russia will likely only retaliate with its own boycotts and blocking of Western companies.

It's hypocritical to impose sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine, but not on the US for invading Iraq for equally unjustified reasons, or on Israel for invading and annexing Arab lands.
