One year after the Capitol riot, experts warn more political extremism and violence could be on the horizon in 2022

Stewart Rhodes, founder of the far-right Oath Keepers, has been denied bail after being deemed a flight risk.
Rhodes and 10 other members of the Oath Keepers were charged with seditious conspiracy earlier this month for their role in the Capitol riots.
The charges help paint a larger picture of the Stop the Steal conspiracy, implicating Roger Stone, who is a linchpin of the Trump Organization.
It's absurd to call Jan. 6 a "seditious conspiracy" by unarmed citizens who largely committed no acts of violence. The Democrats are the anti-Americans, targeting patriotic citizens as "domestic terrorists."
