The Facts

  • Right-wing political commentator Nick Fuentes, 26, faces misdemeanor battery charges following an incident at his Berwyn, Ill., home on Nov. 10, where he allegedly assaulted 57-year-old activist Marla Rose.

  • The confrontation occurred after Fuentes posted controversial statements about women's rights on social media platform X, including the phrase "your body, my choice." This led to his home address being leaked online, prompting Rose to visit his residence.

The Spin

Left narrative

While doxing someone's address should never be condoned, Nick Fuentes dealt with this situation in a despicably violent manner. It's also not surprising that a man who has spent his career inciting racism, sexism, and antisemitism was finally confronted by a woman whose rights were being threatened by the Fuentes movement. His violent rhetoric has now turned into physical attacks, and he will face the legal consequences.

Right narrative

After posting Fuentes' address online and then approaching his door, Marla Rose lost any right to claim the victim. Fuentes, who was facing countless threats at the time over a harmless political joke, had no idea what this woman was planning to do, so he chose to use a non-lethal but effective way of keeping her away. The criminal charge against him should be dropped, and left-wing agitators like Rose should think twice before ever doing this again.
