The Facts
Wisconsin Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul on Tuesday charged two attorneys and an aide who worked for former Pres. Donald Trump with forgery. They're charged with partaking in the alleged plan to overturn the state's results in the 2020 presidential election.
Attorneys Kenneth Chesebro and Jim Troupis, alongside political operative Michael Roman, all stand accused of collecting and submitting documents falsely claiming Trump defeated Democrat Joe Biden in Wisconsin.

Although the fake electors in Wisconsin didn't face charges, they had to admit wrongdoing and vow to stay out of the 2024 election.
