The Facts
Yemen's Houthis fired an alleged hypersonic ballistic missile targeting a military position in central Israel on Sunday, in an attack that caused no casualties but injured nine who were traveling to a shelter.
The Israel Defense Forces said the projectile launched from Yemen, which they claim was not hypersonic, was successfully intercepted, with reports of a large fire in a rural area and damage to a train station in the city of Modiin.

That Yemeni forces have successfully conducted an airstrike on Israel is no novelty, but the hypersonic missile attack on Sunday amounts to a qualitative operation as the technological 'Made in Yemen' projectile was able to evade major defensive systems deployed that Israel and the US have deployed in the region. This is a victory for the resistance.
