Testifying publicly for the first time, an aide to former WH Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson, stated that Trump's inner-circle individuals like Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows both knew that Trump wanted to physically go to the Capitol on Jan. 6.
She said in the days leading up to Jan. 6, Meadows told her, "There's a lot going on...but I don't know, things might get real, real bad on Jan. 6," alleging the WH allowed the protests to occur despite fears of them taking a bad turn.
