Sunday's rallies were a testament to the people of North Korea, who remain steadfast in their will to enact revenge upon the US for the damage it has caused to the Korean Peninsula. This generation must settle the scores against America, whose relationship with South Korea speaks to their continued provocative behavior within the region. Retaliation against the US' aggressive activities — both past and present — is inevitable.
North Korea, having become an unofficial nuclear power, continues to make increasingly credible threats against South Korea, Japan, and even the US. North Korea continues to be disinterested in peaceful reunification with the South, which enabled China to continue its dangerous behavior in a similar fashion to the North. The US must reapply pressure toward the delegitimization of the Kim Jong Un regime if geopolitical progress is to occur in the region.
