Brazilian law requires social media services operating in the country to have a legal representative in the country and to comply with court orders to remove third-party illegal content. As Rumble failed to do both, it's only natural that Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered the platform to be temporarily suspended.
Justice Alexandre de Moraes continues to act as Brazil's chief censor, blocking any platform that refuses to comply with his censorship orders in a despicable push to suppress dissent — including criticism of himself and the supreme court — even if that means violating US sovereignty. It's about time to hold him accountable.
