    The Spin

    Liberal Party narrative

Climate change is real, and it is essential that Canada takes concrete action to combat it. Conservatives continue to downplay the urgency of climate change and instead favor outdated economic policies over the consensus of the scientific community. Liberal climate policies are not just focused on protecting our planet and the environment, but also on job creation in the renewable sector. Failing to act now on climate change will have dire long-term effects on both the economy and public health.

    Conservative Party narrative

The aggressive climate policies of the Liberal government, including the climate tax, put an unnecessary financial burden on Canadian businesses and families. The current push for net-zero is unrealistic and fails to consider the harm it will cause to Canada's economy. What Canada really needs is a balanced approach that prioritizes Canada's energy independence while also investing in clean technology without punitive taxes.

Canada's climate crisis demands action, yet Conservatives deny it, pushing oil expansion, while Liberals cut climate science funding and waste billions on pipelines — both of which fail our planet. Green jobs in renewables and retrofits can drive prosperity without economic harm. Canadians deserve outside voices that reject inaction and promise to implement fossil fuel bans, biodiversity protection, and a thriving clean economy to secure Canada's future.

    People's Party of Canada narrative

The global climate, including in Canada, naturally shifts, as it did post-Ice Age. No scientific consensus proves human CO2 causes dangerous warming, yet alarmist claims, pushed by big government, continue to spread. Costly carbon taxes burden Canadians. Despite predictions of floods or famine having long been debunked, the same politicians still push for more government control over Canadians' lives to protect them from the climate bogeyman.
