The Spin

Right narrative

This decision is a ray of hope following years of overwhelming migration. France's once great cities and cultural centers have been eroded by illegal immigration across Europe, so, hopefully, governments will take permanent, forceful action to end mass migration and bolster economic and social well-being.

Left narrative

Contrary to anti-immigrant talking points, those who trek across the world are fleeing from war, in the case of Ukrainian refugees, or persecution, in the case of Uyghurs fleeing China. Europe is their only chance at living a free life, but the privileged politicians blocking them simply don't care.
