From decades-old corruption scandals to 2026 election deals with Macron, it is clear that Dati does not meet the ethical requirements for public office. Baseless attacks against the judicial system do not change the truth, and after years of injustice Dati will finally face her day in court.

Dati's fierce defense of herself reflects the fighting spirit any leader needs. Until proven guilty she deserves to be presumed innocent, and the proximity of proceedings to the elections next year is certainly suspicious. This is yet another political witch hunt by France's left-leaning justice system.
