The Gen Z gender gap, fueled by economic hardship and social media's pull, demands empathy. Young men, feeling sidelined, turn to Trump's faux "masculine energy," while right-wing women embrace traditional roles with agency. The left must listen without judgment, addressing shared struggles like housing and mental health to bridge divides, not deepen them. Empathy will unite Gen Z against polarization.
Gen Z is moving rightward thanks to decades of failed liberalism, culminating in COVID lockdowns, the immigration crisis and mass outrage. Younger ones favor the GOP by large margins, craving normalcy over wokeness. While men are leading this charge, women will also begin to wake up once they break free of the manipulation perpetrated against them by the Baby Boomer generation.
