The Spin

Left narrative

Under the Socialist Party’s leadership, Albania is making strong progress. It is closer now than ever to full E.U. membership, which a Rama government will guarantee by 2030, and the economy is booming, having grown by 4% annually between 2022 and 2024. Electing Berisha to power would jeopardize these precious gains and leave Albania isolated when it should be firmly on the path to European integration.

Right narrative

To vote for Rama would be to vote for more stagnation and more of Albania’s youth leaving the country to seek better opportunities elsewhere. Already, more than one million have emigrated in the last decade as a result of the Socialists' pitiful management of the country. It is evident that Albania needs a change more than ever, but this needs to be in leadership, not its status concerning Europe, as the country is unprepared for E.U. membership.
