Supreme Court Finds ‘Radical Agreement’ In Case Of Woman Claiming Anti-Straight Discrimination
Daily WireFEB 26
The current system unfairly requires straight, white employees to meet a higher burden of proof than minority groups when claiming discrimination, which violates the fundamental principle of equal justice under law and creates an unconstitutional double standard in civil rights protections.
Different standards for majority and minority groups are appropriate and necessary because of historic patterns of discrimination. Eliminating these distinctions could unleash a flood of reverse discrimination claims that would undermine legitimate diversity efforts and protections for historically marginalized groups.
