For having the audacity to claim that human remains will reveal common-sense biological facts, the police were sent to his door to treat him as a criminal deserving of fines and prison time. While there are some brave, outspoken dissenters, Brunisholz among them, more Europeans need to stand up against the speech police before things get worse.
Switzerland's strong LGBTQ+ protections are essential, with the vast majority of citizens supporting equality and safety, per a Pink Cross survey. Despite this, anti-LGBTQ+ hate crimes are rising, with many targeting trans people. Robust laws, like those addressing Brünisholz’s harmful rhetoric, deter discrimination and violence, ensuring justice and dignity, as most Swiss express concern over increasing attacks.
