For 150 years, numerous U.S. presidents have longed for a large event space at the White House complex, but their administrations have come and gone without attempting to do anything about it. Trump, who has discussed his plans with the National Park Service and others, will make these necessary changes, doing so in a way that honors the original design of the building.
