Russia-Ukraine

G7 countries met on Monday for a three-day summit this week,with Tuesday talks exploring a ban on importing Russian oil sold above a certain price.On Wednesday, the leaders pledged to help rebuild Ukrainian infrastructure.Meanwhile, the UK on Thursday reportedly pledged an additional pound1B in military aid,while the US announced another $840M on Friday.On the ground, a Russian missile strike allegedly hit a shopping mall in Kremenchuk on Monday, leaving at least 18 dead and 59 injured. Russia has denied striking the mall.Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials said at least 21 people were killed and 38 injured in Russian strikes on the coastal town of Serhiivka on Friday. The southern city of Mykolaiv, near Odesa, was also allegedly struck on Wednesday and Saturday, while Russia accused Ukraine of striking its border city of Belgorod on Sunday. This comes as Moscow over the weekend claimed full control of the Luhansk city of Lysychansk, after the fall of Severodonetsk last week, though Ukraine disputes this.

In Colombia, a prison fire killed at least 51, while six people died and hundreds were injured in a bullfighting accident. Meanwhile,in Jordan a chlorine gas leak killed 13 and injured hundreds.
