Mat Staver

Mat Staver is an American attorney and religious liberty advocate who founded Liberty Counsel in 1989, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and the family. He served as the dean of Liberty University School of Law and has argued multiple cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, including Shurtleff v. City of Boston and McCreary County v. ACLU.
