Jared Bernstein

Jared Bernstein is an American economist who serves as Chair of the United States Council of Economic Advisers under President Joe Biden, a position he has held since 2023. He previously served as Chief Economist and Economic Adviser to Vice President Biden from 2009 to 2011 and has been a senior fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
