Yoshua Bengio is a Canadian computer scientist whose work focuses primarily on artificial neural networks and deep learning. He holds a professorship at Université de Montréal and is the scientific director of the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms. He received the ACM A.M. Turing Award in 2018 alongside Geoffrey Hinton and Yann LeCun for their work on deep learning, with the three considered the "Godfathers of AI."
