A group of 19 states and Washington, D.C., this week filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. following a declaration that described treatments such as puberty blockers, hormone therapy and gender surgeries as unsafe and ineffective for minors.
