Marc Andreessen is an American businessman and software engineer, best known for co-authoring Mosaic, one of the first widely used web browsers, and for co-founding Netscape, a key player in the early web. He also co-founded the Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, and is an inductee in the World Wide Web Hall of Fame.
