Russia Says It Thwarted Another Cross-Border Attempt

A Russian official said that the country's troops repelled a further armed attempt to cross the border on Sunday.
Without specifying whether Ukrainian troops were behind the attempt, Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the bordering Bryansk region, said that Russian security forces "thwarted an attempt to cross the state border by an armed group," adding that, "the enemy was eliminated."
