Following the end of Tuesday night's US presidential election debate, pop star Taylor Swift announced on social media that she would be endorsing Democratic Party candidate Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
Writing on Instagram, where she has over 283M followers, the musician stated "misinformation" concerning an artificial intelligence version of herself endorsing Republican candidate former Pres. Donald Trump made her "need to be very transparent" over her real voting intentions.
Swift's endorsement of Harris rounded off what can only be considered an impeccable night for the Democratic campaign. Having been successfully baited into a series of disastrous comments on the debate stage, Swift's rejection of Trump's desperate AI-fueled attempts to secure the musician's support is yet another embarrassing public blow for the GOP candidate.
Tuesday night's endorsement of the Harris campaign by Taylor Swift shouldn't mean a thing for any serious voter this November. With celebrities and musicians often infamous for their limited intellectual and political acumen, unless Swift is planning on solving America's broken borders or fixing the ongoing cost of living crisis, it is unlikely Trump will lose any sleep over this expected announcement.
