This latest incident in Las Cruces, New Mexico — the 53rd mass shooting recorded in America so far this year — further stresses that gun violence is an epidemic in the country. Unless authorities take proper actions to address this issue that has long plagued the US, these figures will continue to increase.
Though obviously shocking and tragic, it's outrageous that legacy media and leftist organizations continue to describe gang violence episodes like this one as a mass shooting incident. They have long inflated the number of mass shootings in America for their political purpose of fear-mongering about guns.
