The Spin

Anti-Trump narrative

The repercussions for Nintendo and its Switch 2 are just the tip of iceberg amid Donald Trump's trade war against the rest of the world. Aside from the gaming industry, tariffs will hurt several other sectors, particularly automobiles, home furnishing and apparel. Trump is weakening the country and impoverishing Americans.

Pro-Trump narrative

Trump's reciprocal tariffs have started to pay off already, so one do not should get to much concerned about Nintendo indefinitely delaying Switch 2 pre-orders in America. For instance, Vietnam—one of the countries where the Switch 2 is produced—has already expressed a desire to ink a deal with the U.S. that cuts tariffs down to zero. This bump in the road is just the preamble to American global trade dominance.
