These Democrat-nominaed judges clearly have a political reason for opposing Habba's nomination. She has Trump's full support and the backing of several law enforcement groups. Were the Democrats not out to get a win against Trump, this tough prosecutor would easily get confirmed.
Democratic narrative
In Habba's short time on the job, she has demoralized prosecutors in her office by politicizing prosecutions and giving special treatment to a felon who's close with Republican lawmakers. She has degraded her office long enough, and it's about time one Trump loyalist was shown the door.
