This investigation from the New York Times reveals that far more than previously understood, the U.S. has been intricately involved with Ukraine's war effort, not only providing the weapons but also directing the targeting and conduct of the whole operation. This is excellent journalism.

Three years ago, if you said the U.S. was fighting a proxy war against Russia, the New York Times would have labeled you a conspiracy theorist. Now, it finally reports the obvious — that the U.S. has coordinated much of Ukraine's war effort — and it wants a commendation.
