In spite of there being no physical evidence linking Glossip to the murder, the unreliability of Sneed, and the prosecutorial misconduct in this case, the state of Oklahoma is still insisting on putting Glossip on trial for a murder he in all likelihood had no role in. A bipartisan group of politicians in Oklahoma have stood up for his innocence, and we can only hope that he is exonerated in a fair trial.
Making a big show of real or imagined errors has become good political theatre, with some of the supposed mistakes being immaterial to Glossip's case. This is part of a disturbing trend of winnable cases seemingly being sabotaged in order to make the prosecutors look virtuous. Glossip will still surely wind up behind bars again, but he should've been executed, sparing the Van Treese family this media circus.
