Those trying to convince Trump to allow for amnesty carveouts are asking him to break a promise he ran on during his successful presidential campaign. The U.S. corporate class may be terrified of having to hire American workers and pay them a living wage, but this is all part of fixing the U.S. immigration system and making the country strong again.
Democratic narrative
Rollins' unhinged plan just proves that the Trump administration's cruelty knows no bounds. Millions of Americans who are slated to lose their Medicaid coverage already work or are retired, and there are not enough of them to replace lost migrant labor. Trump should not be allowed to counter his mass deportation plot by making these Americans toil in the fields.
